1. Acceptable use
You may only audit websites you own or have explicit permission to test. You must not use Auditly to audit government infrastructure, financial systems, healthcare systems or other critical services without proper authorization. You must not attempt to use the scanner to access private networks, internal services or non-public endpoints.
2. No penetration testing
Auditly performs passive, read-only website health checks. It does not perform active exploitation, password attacks, injection testing or any form of penetration testing. Do not use Auditly as a substitute for a professional security assessment.
3. Rate limits and fair use
Free accounts are subject to scan rate limits to ensure fair access for all users. Automated abuse of the scanner API without an authorized API key is prohibited.
4. Service availability
Auditly is provided on an as-is basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scanner results depend on the target website being publicly accessible and may be affected by firewalls, bot protection or other restrictions on the scanned website.
5. Accuracy of results
Audit results are based on automated checks. They may not cover every possible issue. Auditly is not a substitute for professional web development, security or accessibility review. Where a check could not be completed, results clearly show "Unable to verify" rather than generating assumed data.
